In this Spirit Science episode, we dive even deeper into the specifics of nutrition and break down the three main categories of nutrients, and then the various subgroups within each one.

Patchman explains there are three main nutrient groups: Macronutrients, Micronutrients and Phytonutrients.

Macronutrients are the class of chemical compounds which humans consume the largest portions of. These are carbs, proteins and fats. Patchman explains the use and function of these macronutrients in great detail throughout the video.

Then we have Micronutrients. The most common form of Micronutrients are vitamins, which assist our cells create energy. There are six main vitamin groups which include A, B, C, E, D, K and the B vitamins like B-12. Each vitamin supports a specific part and function in our body, all of which are vitally important in keep balanced.

The other form of Micronutrients are minerals, right off the well known periodic table. The main 7 that we ingest the most are sodium, potassium, chloride, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium and sulphur. Just like the vitamins, each mineral supports different aspects of the human body, everything from creating healthy bones, boosting our immune system and stabilizing our mood.

Finally, we have Phytonutrients. These are living plant compounds that exist in their own category because they aren’t actually related to carbs, fats, proteins, vitamins or minerals. Some of the amazing benefits of consuming Phytonutrients include antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, repairing damaged DNA, enhancing intercellular communication and much more!

Phytonutrients can be found in most colorful plant foods, whole grains, spices, herbal teas and almost all plant based food!

Patchman goes onto the create the connection between disease and being nutritionally deficient. When we don’t provide the nutrients our bodies need to function optimally, they pull energy and vitamins from other organs to try and balance itself out.

Listening to your body and providing it the healthiest options, getting the best nutrition available, will immensely boost your health, energy levels and even mental clarity!

It is hard to cover this topic with even hundreds of videos. We are subjected to different influences, have such a large variety of habits, attitudes, lifestyle, backgrounds, genetics….
This topic might even take years… even the way we take our food, how fast or slow we chew, the feelings we put into it, etc…
From time to time it is recommended to clean our system by abstaining from certain food or even food in general for a certain amount of time or period. This way I got reed of some allergy problems I used to have, even if it took me 2-3 years of testing my body reactions.
The blood type diet is a good one to start with, although there’s a lot of wrong info on the net, so one should proceed carefully and not follow it blindly. Also, it would make sense to me in an intuitive way of thinking that the food that comes naturally from the surrounding of your birth place is more appropriate then foreign exotic food, by exotic meaning not growing in your area. Furthermore I feel that the climate zone that we are used to would contain foods more suitable to eat then else.

I think you are all doing a great job, making people reconsider a lot of topics and (dis)beliefs.
A year ago I started to put a lot of energy, thought and intention in just two simple words: “samo ljubav” – meaning “just love” or “only love” in croatian language.
Sharing ideas and belief systems with people around me in this century, arguing and debating, holding on and letting go, constantly redefining what the brain suggests and the heart feels… made me feel deeply sad, even lost. Why? It always ends with revolution discussion, being the only “proven” way to make change possible; erase the old/embrace the new. This equals as blood wasting to me and history repeating itself instead of giving as the knowledge to find solutions to all of our problems. So… I gave them all a comeback of my own. When everyone else would say: “Revolucija je jedini način” = “Revolution is the only way” – there’s my smiling face saying: “Ne znam za vas, ali ja navijam za evoluciju svijesti” = “Don’t know for you, but I am cheering for evolution of consciousness!”.
Then my youngest sister asks me to give a chance to your videos…. It was as Spirit Science came to fulfill my own need for answers people around me didn’t have yet, or were struggling to express in a “normal” way in which others wouldn’t reject them as crazy lunatics and random futile talking. Like you came out of my thoughts, or vice versa.

We are all connected, please don’t give up to the fear burdened skeptics on the road.
Here’s a great example of a brave woman expressing similar feelings, thoughts, beliefs… There are so many connections to a lot of ideas you guys have been sharing, the struggle with blinded awareness, the enourmous amount of patience and endeavour trying to open up the hardest cases among us – – I would love to get your feedback on this 🙂
We are one, we are love and it is our duty to help one another to heal and grow.
Lets all tune to the higher frequency.
    Love all, serve all.
    Samo ljubav.
