In the previous episode we covered the basics of what crystals are, and now we shall explore practical crystal uses in our daily lives!
The first thing you may want to do is to charge your crystals! While they won’t die without being energetically fed, filling them with natural radiant energy helps significantly amplify their use.
The easiest way to charge them is simply putting them out in the sun to absorb its energy. Just like we get vitamins and energy from the sun, our crystals get charged from the light photons! You can also clean your crystals both by letting them sit in salt water, or in dry whole grain or brown rice, which clears and balances their energy. Just remember to make sure the crystals are safe to put in water, most of them are, but certain ones (like selenite and malachite) will slowly erode in water.
Another way is to use other crystals to create a crystal grid. This is the process of aligning the crystals together into any sort of pattern that appeals to you. You can put smaller crystals on top of larger ones, or create grids where the points of multiple crystals all face one in the center… whatever you like really! . This shifts the energy around to charge all the crystals within the grid.
You can create this on a larger scale if you have enough crystals and make a grid all around your house for protection and positive energy. Place them on window ledges and in the corners of each room for a large energetic grid.
One of the most fun and practical ways to use crystals is put them into your water. This is a beautiful way to transfer the crystals energy throughout your water and into your body. We know that we can actually change the molecular structure of our water with our intent, so imagine what putting a positively charged crystal in your water can do!
And finally, perhaps one of the most significant practices you can do – is to meditate with your crystals! You can hold them in your hands or put them around you to help intensify your spiritual practice, and many people have described profound experiences from doing so. This might very well be one of the easiest practices to get into, with amazing results to boot! Give it a try, and good luck!
