Astral Projection, commonly called “Out of Body Experiences” or “OBE” for short, is the process of consciously leaving your physical body to consciously explore different dimensions other than the physical. Astral projection is something we can all do, even if it seems bizarre or impossible to those who have never heard of such a concept.

That’s right! You can practice it right now with determination, practice and patience. The previous episode talked about the importance of mediation, and that practice is fundamental  in learning to to astral project easily.

In order to enter into an astral state, you must be able to relax your body and quiet your mind, for your consciousness to begin tuning itself to a different dimension. Once you are detached physically, you will feel a sense of openness or freedom and allowing your thoughts to guide your spirit wherever it wants to go.

Astral projection often is compared with Lucid Dreaming, and both are very similar in nature. Lucid Dreaming is entering into an astral state from an already-sleeping state of being, where Astral Projection is entering into the same state directly from your waking consciousness.

For many people, it can be a very intense experience, and the first time may even scare those who aren’t ready, or are otherwise unsure of what’s happening. Nevertheless, the experience is often described very similarly by many people – ort of like popping out of your body at first. Many people report floating above their sleeping body, seeing their room in the most amazing beautiful and iridescent light.

Those who have tried it have found that upon taking the experience further, they can travel anywhere in the universe simply with the intent to do so, and explore the astral dimension. This is seen as a collective plane of thought-form consciousness where many different beings live and visit, but scientifically is still not acknowledged or understood.

Traditionally, the Astral Plane is seen as existing within the greater mental plane, so there could be many trickster spirits that don’t exist solely from the heart residing here. It can be a confusing place, so learning about it first can help navigate your first experiences there.

To begin your journey into astral projection, the biggest asset you have is your will to do so. If you practice meditation regularly, and ask your higher self for an astral experience, you may just find yourself out of body sooner than you think.

It was a beautiful explanation. As I’m a beginner in this I would like to ask you if there are any unpleasant experiences or possible dangers in doing this, as you mentioned that the place of exploration is the lower plane?

Well there are dangers in crossing the road, or even walking in a park just as there are benefits to getting out and going places so the best advise we can offer is that your light and the love that exists within you can shine brighter than anything that might try to scare you! So when you start meditating and before you project anywhere, remember to get strongly connected with your inner light so you can take it with you on your travels!

Hey i was wondering if you had any tips for me. First off i wanna say i love your information and please keep on! I think you are definitely helping the gear of earth turn into making heaven on earth posible! Anyway iv been trying to astral project for years now. To be exact iv been trying for about 4 years. Recently i stopped believing that i could actually do it till about 2 months ago i had my first out of body experience if i can even call it that. I had a dream that i was in a matrixy type movie and these guys picked me up in a van and sat me in this chair. I was confused at first but then i looked at them in the eyes and everything seemed so clear. I relaxed and closed my eyes and all of a sudden i felt intense vibrations all over my body (which i think knocked me out of my dream state) and all i felt was the most blissful peace iv ever felt. I tried to open my eyes and i saw a red and blue sphere then i woke up. I was unsure if that was all a dream or what until i had a similar experience a couple nights ago. Every night at around 1 am i wake up for some reason. So i take this time to meditate back to sleep i guess you could say. I pictured the merkeba and its spinning and counter spinning nature in my mind and became very relaxed. And before i knew it i felt these intense vibrations again and it felt as if i could float out of my numbed body if i tried and that night i did try and i knew that i was in this vibration state known to be common before astral projecting. But to no avail i woke up and lost it all again. I feel im so close but yet so far away and i have no idea what im missing. Do you have any recommendations? >-<

When doing the merkaba meditation as described in the flower of life books, the breath and the intention in your heart are the two most important keys in making the meditation successful. Keep your awareness on deep breathing and refine your breath so you can really feel its subtle energies. Then hold a space of love and compassion in your heart, expanding this love throughout your field! From this space you will be able to move your perception from your body with greater ease, happy travels!
